Brooklyn-based Les Racquet is a jazz-oriented indie rock trio touring nationally in support of their most recent EP, “Be Water My Friend”, recorded at Drift Design Studios in Boston, Massachusetts. Les Racquet, made up of Kenny Murphy, Patrick Carroll, and Daniel Malone, are a trio of musicians with jazz awareness and technique, who pride themselves on writing and performing music that can peak the interest of learned musicians as well as the mainstream listener. Imagine the creativity of the Bad Plus with three part harmonies and pop sensibility. Their sound has been likened to Dr. Dog ("on crack") the Fleet Foxes ("...if someone gave them balls.") Frank Zappa and Queen.

steveNkim are a contemporary folk duo, unassuming in their subtle seduction of audiences along the east coast. Performing both engaging original music and a variety of popular covers from many eras, steveNkim will win you over with their sweet vocal harmonies and intricate guitar work. The pair met in Boston, Massachusetts where they continuously and fleetingly crossed paths for five years before deciding it was time to move into a van and travel around the country playing music. With a background in heavy metal, Steven possesses an intensity that gives an edge to Kim's gentle sweetness. Soothing and aggressive, light and dark, male and female, city and country: steveNkim pursue the union of opposites and the transcending of boundaries.
